BIO

Chris has been sharpening his eye and craft for over 14 years while bringing brands to life across broadcast, digital, social, print and experiential formats. With a wide range of experience, Chris brings a unique and holistic view of how brands are received in the most impactful ways.

Recently Chris spent 4 years at Commonwealth / McCann Detroit introducing and elevating the Chevrolet brand to various global markets as part of the Chevrolet Global Content Studio. He contributed to various aspects of the business from concepting, branding and producing multiple content series and campaigns that helped elevate the brand’s product photography and video, as well as the brand lifestyle content. He has worked on a range of other brands including FIAT, Minute Maid, Polartec, JBL, Harman Kardon, Cox Communication, Alltel, The Henry Ford Museum, Dodge, and Cadillac.

Chris has a passion for brand identity and a love of aesthetic and craft. This attention to detail can bee seen across the branding work he has done for Bad Luck Detroit, Willis Show Bar and the Mo Pop Festival in which he laid the visual brand groundwork for each.

While focused on brand-building, Chris developed some serious digital chops, developing the online presence for brands including the Michigan Science Center, SF Masonic, and more. Chris also recently worked on the brand refresh for the Alumni Association of the University of Michigan as the lead Art Direction Creative, working in tandem with the Internal UofM creative team to modernize and connect the Alumni Association in 21st Century with some new brand guidelines and a fresh Wordpress site.

As an “always curious” creative, Chris practices pushing the art form and experimentation of his design work through his own brand The Silent Giants where he has created hundreds of concert and film posters, dozens of album packages, and an abundance of ski and snowboard graphics. In this capacity, he’s created graphics for clients such as Jack White (Third Man Records), The National, Flight of the Conchords, The Avett Brothers, Atomic Skis, Moment Skis, Nitro Snowboards, and Smith Snowboards.
